Cosmetic dentistry treatment goals:

• This person has a number of gaps between their teeth, yet their center two teeth (the central incisors) are slightly overlapped.
  
  
• This person's lateral incisors are relatively small. Their biting edge is somewhat pointed instead of straight across.

The approach we would suggest for this makeover is to realign the center two teeth so they are no longer overlapped. Then fill in the gaps between this person's teeth by way of placing porcelain veneers such as Lumineers ®.

• The orthodontic needs of this case could be considered to either be very minimal or significant. It would be expected that using orthodontic treatment as a way of realigning these teeth so they are straight and have no gaps between them would be significant, probably involving one to two years. Using orthodontic treatment to simply idealize the alignment of the center two teeth would be much less involved and one even suited to a removable orthodontic system such as Invisalign Express ®. The expected time frame for this simplified treatment would be much less, probably just several weeks.
  
  
• After the positioning of the center two teeth (the central incisors) had been idealized, porcelain veneers (possibly even Lumineers ®) could be placed on the lateral incisors so to close the remaining tooth gaps and give these teeth a more pleasing shape.
  
  
• We have also illustrated some minor changes for this person's cuspids (eye teeth). These changes could be accomplished simply by placing tooth bonding.
